From the Camonica Valley to New York, passing through Milan, Paris, Nairobi. Franca Ghitti’s boundless art lands on Sky Arte through the documentary by Davide Bassanesi and realized thanks to the support of Forni Industriali Bendotti. The film has been included in the show schedule of the first Italian television channel dedicated to culture and art and, from Saturday 3 October 2020 at 8.15 pm it will be on air on Sky channels 120 and 400.
Through the memories and testimonies of those who have known her, the film is an unpublished telling that gives us the stages of the career of the Camuna artist Franca Ghitti, just a few years after her death.
“We are proud to have supported the making of the documentary film” – explains Michele Bendotti, CEO of Forni Industriali Bendotti. “Franca Ghitti was an artist of extraordinary sensitivity, but also a dear friend, whom we remember with great affection. Sky’s editorial choice only confirms her cultural depth, her talent, and will help to spread her artistic heritage.”
The programming on Sky Arte (channels 120 and 400):
Saturday 3 October, 8.15 pm
Reruns: Sunday 4 October, 12.30 noon and Monday 5 October, 5.25 pm

The artistic collaboration between Bendotti and Franca Ghitti has resulted in the creation of various works and installations, visible at the Costa Volpino headquarters, produced using waste elements from reheating furnaces’ industrial production.
